History of Danse Arts

In 1985, Aras Ames, founded  Danse Arts  as a classical  school of ballet for the East End of Long Island.  With ballet training, its discipline, and creativity, our students learn to build and sustain self-confidence as well as prepare to meet the challenges of life with strength and grace.
Miss Megan Cancellieri, the owner of Danse Arts , with her training in classical ballet and other dance has expanded on  Mr.Ames teachings for the next  generation of students.  She incorporates her experiences in dance and performing as well as her love of teaching, to enable students to learn and love Ballet as much as she does.
We have Professionally trained Faculty available for our students at all levels.   Our Ballet students have been accepted at several prestigious summer Ballet programs including The Rock, Walnut Hill and CPYB.  We are very proud of the faculty and students for this accomplishment.
